Counselling Workshop for Counsellors: Our First Collaboration with Counselling First Was a Success!

On Friday, 14th March, we successfully delivered our first-ever 6-hour CPD-approved Counselling Workshop for Counsellors, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration with Counselling First. This intensive session introduced professionals to Grid Society tools designed to enhance client practice, backed by theory and real-world application.
A Vision Realised
This workshop was inspired by Kay Choudary, who runs Counselling First. When she first experienced our workshop, she immediately saw the synergies with her work. Inspired by its impact, she began integrating Grid Society tools into client sessions wherever applicable. This partnership led to the creation of a powerful workshop, bridging theoretical depth with practical tools, giving counsellors new ways to support their clients.

Packed with client resources, this counselling workshop for counsellors equips professionals with practical strategies to enhance client outcomes while also strengthening their own posture in the counselling room.
A Monumental 6-Hour Session
Delivering a 6-hour online workshop was a huge milestone. Seeing counsellors integrate deep theoretical grounding into our framework was both humbling and inspiring. At the start, some cameras were off, unsure of what to expect, but by the end, most were on—and for those who weren’t, we could hear them contributing actively. Attention spans were fully engaged and it felt like an open, dynamic conversation—as if we were all in the same room. The sharing, learning and energy throughout the session was truly incredible.
Years in the Making...
The Grid Society framework is rich with angles, and structured methodologies—a system that took years to develop. It was built with one mission: to help others self-reflect, progress, and step into their absolute potential. Now, watching qualified professionals embrace this mission and carry it forward is more than we could have hoped for.
